| Coach at Mansfield Harriers AC Juniors 8-13 year olds. The group size can vary from 10-40 in the summer. The emphasis of my sessioins is FUN. The athletes work hard but just don't realise it! I use the Athletes 365 as the base for the coaching of this group, thus running, walking, throwing and jumps are all covered.
I was a 'Supermarket Mum' until 2008 following a serious illness I decided to get involved. I qualified as a Level 1 in 2008 and quickly followed this up with a Level 2: Endurance; Jumps & Throws. During 2010-11 I sucessfuly completed the assesment for the new UK:A Athletes Coach. |
