| Joined Manx Athletic Club in 1968, A club runner won a few local Championships as a junior unable to replicate as a senior, has been involved as a Coach & Official with Manx Athletic Club, Western AC, Northern AC. Organiser of many local events including Great South Run, Peel to Douglas, Foxdale 6, Pier to Pier, IOM T & F Championships and Easter Athletics Festival and many more.
Isle of Man Athletic Association Secretary in 2001 - 2006, Island Games Representative,
Isle of Man Team Manager Shetlands 2005, Track Judge at the Commonwealth Youth Games,
Spent just under 10 years as Head Coach with Special Olympics IOM, Spain 2002, Japan 2005 ,Italy 2006, Gibraltar 2007/8/9, Austria 2008,Poland 2008, China 2007, USA 2009 and Greece 2011.
Started Coaching in 1973:-Level 3 coach for endurance Level 2 middle distance & Sprints. Track Judge level 2, Endurance official level 3. In 2014 Graham retired as an event organiser and concentrates his spare time to coaching & officiating. |
