I started running in 1976 age 13 at school and ran for Berkshire in English schools XC and Duchy of Cornwall AC. PBs - 800m - 1:59, 1500m - 4:01, Mile - 4:18 ( Tonbridge 1986), 3000m - 8:35 (Woking 1986). Won the 1983 London University Cross Country Championships (Parliament Hill). I stopped competing in 1986 and returned to athletics in 2000. I now compete and coach with Central AC and have won the 50 - 55 Scottish age group 1500m twice in 2013 & 2014. I have competed for Scottish vets XC (55 age group) in 2019 and 2019 in the British and Irish XC international. I was also second in the Scottish masters 55 age group XC championship (2020).
