About Login
Tabo has over 20 years’ experience of developing high performing athletes across a number of sporting environments (e.g. F1, England Rugby, English Institute of Sport, ParalympicsGB and Goalball). Now based in the NW, Tabo coaches athletes over the sprints and hurdles events which are underpinned by scientific knowledge (e.g. biomechanics, physiology, anatomy and psychology). This knowledge is continually being refined firstly through undergraduate and postgraduate studies and latterly as a university lecturer. Philosophically, Tabo sees athletes has learners and therefore seeks to create environments that supports self-discovery and where possible provide evidence that further embeds technical mastery, increased confidence and self-esteem. Ethically, Tabo also is committed to providing quality coaching experiences to athletes with impairment (acknowledging that some impairments require additional assistance to take part in coaching sessions) and also to support coaches wishing to provide inclusive coaching environments. Tabo’s group also includes three athletes with impairment who have medalled internationally including European, World and Paralympic events. Tabo’s coaching influences include Loren Segrave, Tom Tellez, Charlie Francis and Allen Adamson his former coach. He has also had the pleasure of spending time learning and observing Dan Pfaff who he credits with putting the enjoyment back into his coaching. If you want to develop techanical mastery, speed and power then email: Tabohuntley@hotmail.com Twitter:@CoachTabo
