My love of sprinting began in 1988 watching Ben Johnson battle Carl Lewis, I loved it so much I sprinted for my school in Cornwall, clocking 13.7 at 11 years old.
I began my senior Athletics at 22, representing RAF, from 1999 to 2004, in which time I was lucky enough to run at some great venues, such as Birmingham, Loughborough University, and Haringey where I ran 11.3.
Due to deployments overseas I was unable to compete in 05, 06, and 07 which led me to hang up my spikes at the age of 30.
In 2012 at 35 and now a veteran I decided to come back into the sport I love and compete again, and so far have been lucky enough to run at Sheffield, Portugal and Watford, and have found a great little club in West Norfolk where they have made me feel at home.
